I have a new EX-495.  The video converter produces green video when converting standard dvr-ms files.  Problem shows up using Full and iPod/Zune profiles...

 Any thoughts?

Thanks

You're not alone. I have the same issue where converted dvr-ms files from my Media Center have the green color.

Good to know others are seeing this issue. I have continued to convert dvr-ms files and about half are showing up green... Each of the files are of varying durations and were recorded over the past few years using windows media center.

Maybe the green color has something to do with the quality of the recording as configured at the Media Center. I'm also noticing that the converted video has ghost images. It almost looks as if there is a second recording being displayed on top of the other in to top third of the frame. I wonder if converting a best quality vs. standard quality will make a difference in the converted mp4.

It's interesting that the green color is not consistent.

Chances are that the problem is with the driver on the capture card. Found a reference to the problem on the following page.
