I wouldn't think so. I installed WMP11 on my ex475 with no ill effect.

I'm still new to this so I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I recently downloaded and installed the Remote Desktop Connect 7.0 and went into my 487 for the first time from my XP. I was surprised to find installed on the 487 a copy of Windows Media Player 11. Is this something other people use? Is this why I can't use my WMP11 from my XP any more to push stuff out to my PS3?
