HP offers a download "interface" for the Mac, for the EX470 found here:

This is a Console only, not the Control Panel. Once once you run the .dmg file, you will have a Time Machine interface and the Console. PLEASE follow the directions exactly, and make sure your MSS WHS updates are done, according to the directions.

I am assuming you have a PC or PC laptop on your network already? I don't think you can properly set up the MSS without running the setup routine via Windows, first.
