Hi guys long time no speak....

Anyway I'm after a bit of advice. i have the original ex470. basically a couple of months after purchasing the unit my job changed as did my computing needs so i went all out mac. so the ex470 was put in its box in the corner of my office and never used. i noticed it the other day and thought id pull the old girl out and see if hp did ever sort out the issues with the unit.

I didn't have the original p.c that it was setup with nor any of the others but i do have a laptop with vista on for testing reasons so i decided to format the mediasmart and start from scratch. now the issue i have is the software is the original 1.11 whatever it was. i see hp has updated this software but the mediasmart refuses to download..

i seem to remember that there was a manual way of doing this, can anyone talk me through the process and provide the most current non beta release for me. the windows software is up to date. just the actual mediasmart Isn't.
