Something strange with itunes streaming from the server.
Not sure what happenings with my streaming settings for my network... When i start iTunes on pc or laptops on the network to use iTunes streaming the first time all is great. Then after a sleep cycle the link to the server for iTunes is missing on all pc's. I recheck all settings on the server to make sure everything is enabled and all is normal. I shut down the server and booted and everything returned until the next sleep cycle.
I'm going to try a reboot this time and see if everything returns... then I might try and turn off the sleep cycle and see if it still continues.
anyone else have this problem?
I have this problem also. My central library from my MSS seems to show up in my itunes when it wants. I have uninstalled and reinstalled new itunes version, Didn't work. Guess I have to call tech support AGAIN.
Yes something is funny with the iTunes part of the server or iTunes.... I'm still having this same problem from time to time.
I own an HP LX195, and I have the exact same problem. After a sleep cycle, my itunes library on the server is not available, and only rebooting the server brings it back online. I really like the ability to put the server to sleep, but it's a pain to lose itunes every day. Any and all suggestions welcome.
Cheers.

Sorry guess must be just me :(
I turn off my sleep mode for the last few days and itunes stayed online. I'm going to enable sleep mode again and see if the problem returns.
