Right now I have KeepVault backing up my files off site and it does a great job.  However there's a file that can be only be stored on our local computers (Outlook's PST file) that KeepVault cannot access.  I know these files are backed up nightly via WHS computer backup.  Where are these files locate on WHS?  Should I be able to point KeepVault to these files for backup or can they be read only with a WHS recovery?

Thanks for any help.

WHS does incremental image backups. The files are only retrievable if you open the image for a particular day.

Why does KeepVault not backup the pst file? Is it because of an open file lock? If so, just make sure Outlook is closed before the backup happens and it should back it up.

The pst file is on a work station and not the MSS.  pst files cannot reside on servers. KeepVault WHS edition only backs up whats on the server.

Thought - Can't you robocopy your outlook pst folder to a share on your MSS daily? Then use KeepVault to back it up?
