I don't think you can map server share from the outside network for direct saving from Excel (or any other app).

You need to connect to the server with your browser, log in with proper credentials and then goto Shared Folders and navigate to the folder you want to upload to. Once there, select Upload button (with blue arrow pointing up) and then drop your file(s) to the target that says "Drop Files Here". You'll see upload process for each file. Yeah, it's a bit more complicated than just clicking Save in the app, but that should do it.
