Hello: New to the group and the forum.
Wanted to ask about eSATA Port Multipliers/Enclosures.
I have seen the threads about the Multipliers and is seems that the EX47x will support the eSATA Multipliers.
Any guidance on which ones/brands work better?
Size Supported 4? 5? 8?
I guess I lucked (dumb luck) out buying a used EX470 (Hacked to L1640 & 2GB) hand me down from a friend and not one of the new EX48x that do not seem to support eSATA Multipliers.
Thanks in advance for your guidance through the forest of HP MSS....
Took a second to pick up the MSS acronym as I guess opposed to WHS.

Dutchess County, NY, United StatesThe eSATA port will, in theory, support a maximum of FIVE (5) bays. I say "in theory" as most of the popular ones (e.g., Sans Digital) seem to actually only work with a maximum of four (4) bays. Sans Digital seems to be the most popular with a very good support team and an "official" support thread for their "TowerRAID series" over on http://www.mediasmartserver.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2389 .
