I installed the following 4GB RAM to my EX485. It works without problem.

Does anyone know if the 485/7 will take a memory upgrade to 4GB DDR2 6400 NON-ECC 800Mhz ? I have already upgraded the CPU to an E5200 and it has been running fine for over a week now. The memory is kinda expensive and I wouldn';t want to buy iut only to find it doesn't work.

Since doing your 4gb memory upgrade, do you feel the system runs better? If so what does it do better?

I believe 2GB is good for regular use. I upgraded to 4GB because of running a virtual machine on the server. I also upgraded my CPU to Celeron E3300 which has 2 cores and supports virtualization.
