I have been running an HP 470 successfully for some time now with 2x Hitachi 1TB drives + the supplied 500GB system drive.

Yesterday I added a Seagate 1.5TB drive and then removed (using the Remove facility) one of the 1TB drives. I then manually backed up one of my desktop PCs, replaced the C drive in that with the 1TB dive and recovered the manual backup using the PC restore CD.

Everything worked smoothly and the PC is working fine. Overnight all the backups appeared to run fine and the systray icon is green.

Today I noticed The Server Storage pie chart is showing only 13% used space when it should be over 50%, PC backups are shown as 389 GB when they should be over 4 times that.

Computers & Backups shows all 8 PCs as backed up. Viewing backups individually shows all volumes backed up. However, if I attempt to open any of the backups as soon as the progress bar gets above 80% is stops and reports “Cannot mount backup”. It does this even for the volume that I successfully restored yesterday.

Any ideas what is wrong and what I should do?

Help!

As you are not getting a response here I suggest you do a search and then post to an appropriate thread (or start one if there aren't any) over at . The community there is more technically focused on the MSS.
