If you have the Optimum online boost premium service, they will allow you to open up port 80. Generally speaking cablevision does not want people having servers and outbound traffic on their networks under basic consumer service plans.

i have the new server. cant get remote access is this because port 80 situation? I have optimum online and i am told that some companies block these ports....
