Setup:  HP MediaSmart Home Server   and  HP MediaSmart Connect

The Home server has my movies ripped  from dvd (that I own)  to mp4:

     ..//server/video/jumper.mp4

    ..//server/video/blueplanet.mp4

When I navigate to the All Videos on the MediaSmart Connect device I do not

see any thumbnails.  I have tried downloading xml's from dvdxml.com but that

didn't help (including carefully matching filenames up to the mp4 filename).

Ideas?

I answered this in the other thread.

Posting the same question over and over will not change anything. The information you are looking for is contained in the iso and or video_ts folder.

If you are using VMCE then a thumbnail will be displayed for each each video but it is just one of the early frames in the video.

Thanks for answering in the other thread.

This was posted before the other discussion got to that point. Also it wasn't clear that simply because it couldnt play iso that there was not a way to
include some other file / meta info that perhaps MC would detect.

I had read in other forums in some cases that the xml can be used although it wasn't unclear if MC could.

Thanks also for the bonus saracasm. Coffee and sarcasm make the day pass quickly.

It was too much coffee on my end that resulted in my less than friendly response! Sorry!
