This may be a stupid question, but I would think that the drives in a server would require a defrag on a regular basis.  Why would a server drive be any different than a drive on any other Windows System?  I would like to know if I am clear off base on this.  If not, is there any present way to acomplish it?

WHS drives also benefit from defragmentation just like any other Windows system. However, Microsoft recommends against using the in-built defragmenter that ships with WHS. So, it's advisable to use a third party defragmentation solution that works around the issues between the shadow copy service and defragmentation. For more information, see these blog posts.
