Any ideal when and what will be contained in the next f/w upgrade. I would like to see more codecs supported.

Thanks

Namely AVCHD without renaming (.mts and .m2ts...)!!

Thanks!

I personally hope that more codecs will be supported but I seriously doubt that will happen. HP chose which codecs to support and which not too. Remember this is HP and HP is not about to support much of anything that does not tie into Microsoft or enables anything that the media industry does want enabled.

With AVCHD I think the file extension is the least of your problem for play back. The bitrate is probably too high for the way the MSC transfers files and again I doubt HP will change that.

Would PVConnect produce better results?

I am not familiar with PVConnect, what is it? Does it work with the MSC?
