I came across this site:

 From http://www.themediamall.com/playon

"PlayOn enables consumers who own a PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360, or HP MediaSmart TV to watch Internet video from sites including Hulu, CBS, YouTube, ESPN and more on their television. We have just released PlayOn Beta. Netflix support is just down the road, and the fully featured release will be coming shortly! "

The MediaSmart Connect has pretty much the same functionality as the TV, so it probably works as well (although I have not tested anything yet)

They provide a one month free subscription, but after that it is $30/month - not exactly cheap.

If anyone gives it a try, lets us know how it works..

OK. I gave it a try today using both a Connect and a MediaSmart TV.
Installation is very easy. You just download and install the PlayOn server.
Then you go to Servers on the MediaSmart carousel and select the PlayOn server.
You see then: YouTube, Hulu, CBS, etc.

I can navigate all trees, but for some reason the final listings are invisible. I can navigate up/down, I can even play videos, but I can'see the title of what I am playing. I was able to play both Hulu and YouTube videos, but for CBS I only got - This video is no more available.

Apparently the free tryout is for 60 days.

Correction: it is 60 day trial and $30 ONE-TIME fee.

Some good news. With help from HP, MediaMall fixed the bug and now everything works. Both Hulu (NBC) and CBS provide tons of content.
If you are in a rush ask their support for the fixed version, or wait 1-2 days until they make an official release.

TV guy thank you for researching, troubleshooting and posting about the MediaMall!
I gave it a shot today and it shows a great deal of promise. I am using the un fixed version so I have the same issues you had a few posts back. When the fix is out I will give that a try and post back.

EDIT: With the fixed software and a faster PC it works quite nicely! PQ is not great but is watchable. This looks like a winner!!

Note...it is a $30 ONE TIME fee, not monthly, as indicated above.

Browsed around some and PlayOn has a fairly large and diverse selection of video. We (my wife and I) are die hard fans of the old sci-fi stuff like Star Trek and Outerlimits. Looking forward to discovering more...
