I got a console message that WHS had downloaded two critical add-ins (PVC and McAfee)  I installed them as instructed and my HP MSS slowed to a crawl.  I then installed PP1, the speed returned to normal but got a message to upgrade my client.  When I try to update my client from the console hyperlink or from the share on the server it fails with message "Home Server Mini Setup has stopped working" .....

I uninstalled both the add-ins and uninstalled the previous connector software but still get the same error.

Next time, install one at a time, with hours in between. Each of those addins have some work to do after you install it.
Second, does going to this address to your WHS fix it? http://server:55000/

It's been many days since I installed the add-ins. That URL gave me a page load error.

Did you substitute your server's name or IP for "server" in that address?

How much ram are you running? If it's 512MB, that won't be enough.
