When I check for new WHS updates using the WHS Console, it says there are no new updates.  When I check for new windows updates using remote desktop, it says there are three updates for Windows server 2003.  Which method is right?  Will the updates for windows server2003 "break" WHS?Undecided

What are the updates that you see via Remote Desktop? When I go thru RD and use Windows Update I only see a few odd non-priority software updates, plus one for a Marvel Virtual Device. Nothing that I would take the trouble to install.

Your safest bet is to stick to updates via the console for both HP and MS updates.

Where are you checking for windows updates in the console? Advanced admin addin? Or are you talking about the updated button under the HP button. Checking windows updates through RDP would be just fine either way.

I am checking in settings, under general, and there is a button on the right.
