Where did you get the 1776 built from ? I don't seen it on CONNECT.

FOr those of you who are beta testing PP1, there is a newer version out, 1776. THe first one offered was 1771.
I had problems, like many others, with high CPU usuage after installing pp1 beta. I unloaded all the add-ins and uninstalled all other programs that I installed but still saw a high CPU usuage. Well after 1776, which you can get from the CONNECT website and if you submitted a BUG REPORT and if 1776 will help solve your BUG, my CPU went from 95-100% down to the levels it was prior to PP1 about 10-15 % at idle....

In order to see it in your DOWNLOAD section, a couple of things have to happen ( by my experience )
1. You have to formally submit a bug to MS through their CONNECT web site
2. THe bug you are submitting has to be an issue that build 1776 can possibly resolve.
3. If those thwo things happen, in a few days a rep will email you to let you know that they have given you access to build 1776.
at that point you can download it and install it AFTER you uninstall 1771 build ( the first pp1 beta )

As of today (July 21), you can get the English version of PP1 at Microsoft's download site.
