hermes: you should be using WPA security if you're using wireless -- WEP isn't as secure as WPA. You had to chose what URL you wanted from TZO when you signed up. Go to Settings / Remote Access / click on Details in the Domain Name section - it will show you the URL.

Hi, first of all I hope this is classed as a software question lol
Secondly, good to see so much support for a great product.
Ok at last I have got it going
Everything seems ok and as far as I know it's working ok lol
A few questions from me please.
My Netgear WGT 624 router seems to have worked with the UPnP, is there any way of testing remote access to my folder, is there somewhere outside my own home network to try these things out?
I have used the TZO DNS service which was so easy but do I need to use the website function to remote access?
Does the server generate an url for remote access, how does that work and where do I see that so I can try it from work lol
How does the server backup system work, can I specify a certain backup folder?
I use wepkey security on my router, do I assume it covers the server too?
sorry for such noob questions but at least Im up and going!
Thanks
Thanks mate, I dont have an issue with my address now just wondered if there's a service out there for testing url's, eg outside my own network.
So I should use WPA instead, ok I will take that onboard, thanks mate.
How does the server backup system work, can I specify a certain backup folder?
I have made another user account but get an error when I try to open his folder from the control panel, just says contact dont have access, contact the administrator etc. I was hoping that I could drop stuff into his folder for him to access or doesnt it work like that?
Thanks in advance:)
