The kids just went to go see it. Will let yo know what they think. But I am still debating whether to go or wait for DVD.

I heard a Chicago Tribune film critic on WGN Radio this morning talking to Spike O'Dell. According to him, Ironman is must-see film... three and a half stars!
I never would have Robert Downey Jr. would be a good superhero. What are your thoughts on this film?

I have not seen it either. However, I have confirmation that the movie is "awesome" and that I should go see it. I think it does a lot of fanservice to the Iron Man / comic book crowd.
I know that I won't be going to the theaters to see it. The significant other and I will most likely see the new Narnia film instead... thankfully, like me, she's a big fan of the epic fantasy genre :)

My 3 kids that went gave it an "A", "B+" and a "C" The "C" was from the youngest one. So I would have to say they liked it a lot.

My girlfriend and I saw it Sunday morning. It was an enjoyable movie. I will be picking it up when it's released on Blu-ray Disc.

Apparently Howard Stern and Robin liked it. Heard them talking about it today.

Yeah Howard loved it...he said it was just as good as Spiderman...
I think it was the best superhero movie so far
No doubt the film's getting rave reviews, but it looks like they still can't make a decent movie based video game. X-play on G4 gave Ironman for 360 and PS3 a 2 out of 5. And 1 up gave it a D+. Bummer.
So it looks like "See the movie, skip the game."
Matt,
I heard the same about the game. Downloaded the demon on my PS3 but yet to try it after reading the review.
Definite see the movie and try the game demo before buying it.
I would actually say it blows Spiderman away, and I liked Spiderman.
I'm loathe to say it, but I agree with Howard Stern - it's a great movie.
Indiana Jones, however, as much as it really wasn't Harrison Ford's fault, sucked so much I almost got up and left.
Luckily, I was with my wife, so I had good company.
But we both enjoyed Ironman.
And we're looking forward to the new Narnia movie, as well as Batman in July.
