I only allow myself access to the console as it's for administration of the server and users really don't need access to it. You can only log into it with the administrator password, not as a user on the system.

Poll for Home Server users:
Is it normal to share access to the home server console within the members of your family, or do you typically limit access to just one person? If you share, does it cause problems or confusion?

The question I'm asking is whether it makes sense to share the admin password with your spouse, for example, or do you strictly keep that confidential to yourself? Does shared admin access with others cause more headaches or does it have value?

I think it just causes headaches. If your logged into the console doing something and someone else logs in, it will shut down your session. Also, there is no real reason to have more then one person admin the server itself, IMHO of course.
