Yes I would like the inside scoop and to participate in beta testing if I could just find my way to sending you a private mail.

TiVo and WHS were made for each other.

To send someone a private email, click on their avatar.  It should open a page which has a caption under their avatar, with an option to send a private message.  Let me know if you are still having problems.

I have been a user of WHS since the day it was released I also use HP Z558, and HP q770. My entire digital database is residing on WHS, and works very well.

Please register me for your test program.

You guys really shouldn't be posting your personal infomration in a public forum such as this one. If I were you, I'd edit your post to remove your personal infomrmation and then send Cindy a "private message" containing the information she requested. She's even posted the information on how to send a private message if you don't already know how to do it.

I think attention to detail is often a qualifier ... ;-)

Cindy, I would be interested -- especially anything to do with Home Server. I'm not sure how to private email you, so if you would forward that info to me I will send you the information required.

Thanks,

Barry Heath

Cindy,
I sent a PM to you twice providing the info you needed to see if I could qualify as a beta tester. No response :) Maybe you are busy. I was one of the original beta tester for MS on WHS and have a HP MSS, with MediaSmart Connect, two HP Media Center PCs, an HP Laptop and and Sony Desktop in my network. Should provide for a rich test center for you. Hope to have you reply to my PM soon. In case you see this and not the PM use gch at vt.edu to connect via email.

Hi, SeaRay33,

Many thanks to you for your response and interest in helping us out.

As a matter of fact, we had about 150 volunteers from the Community who submitted their contact information and have generously offered to help with future product testing.

Thanks to everyone who wrote me and volunteered -- I will definitely plan on including as many of you as possible;  from the comments I have received, the team here at HP is thrilled to have so many exceptionally talented folks to count on.  Your inputs will be very valuable to us.

By the way, SeaRay33, from your email address it appears you are a Hokie?  Me, too!

Yes, Cindy...MS, Mathematical Statistics '67.  I was at Tech again in the '72-'73 time frame as well, but I suspect neither of those times were anywhere near when you were at Tech.  Glad to hear you are a Hokie!  And thank you for your reply.  It sounds like HP may be a bit overwhelmed with the interest level in beta testing. :)

Hi, SeaRay33,

In this case, being overwhelmed with volunteers is a very good thing! Hopefully, we will be able to ping each of you on a variety of things as we make design decisions going forward.

Hokie Hokie Hokie Hi!

Thanks!
